I’m passionate about making a positive impact with measurable results.
As an INFJ Myers-Briggs personality type, a career is more than a job for me. I’m happiest when my work improves lives and makes a difference.
Whether I’m providing thoughtful, in-depth analyses to help others reach their goals, connecting with others to share their written stories, designing graphics, creating native Facebook videos or volunteering in my community, I do it with enthusiasm and integrity. I also pride myself in supporting my work with facts and analytics.
I have five years of progressive media industry experience, most recently serving in a leadership role on Michigan.com’s Regional Operating Committee. I advised the senior team, and employees across the state, on the best strategies and untapped opportunities in digital and social media.
My work as a journalist has been published in USA Today, Detroit Free Press, Lansing State Journal and HumanKind.
My past positions won’t tell you I’m just as comfortable in a front-and-center role as I am behind the scenes. As a former professional dancer, I have performed in front of tens of thousands of people (and in a Miley Cyrus video!), yet have the ability – and experience – to advise and collaborate as a team or on a one-on-one basis.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Mass Communications – Journalism from Oklahoma City University, where I served as editor-in-chief of the university’s student-run newspaper.
You can find me teaching barre classes, trying new beer (peanut butter porters are my latest favorite) and chasing after my toddler in my spare time!
